Sambhali Trust's Status

Where we work:
Sambhali Trust's projects are based in Jodhpur city and Setrawa villages in Rajasthan, India.

Sambhali has been operating since October 2006. Sambhali Trust is a non-profit public charitable organization, a Non-Government Organization (NGO) approved and registered by the Deputy Registrar, Jodhpur, given the registration number 2007000380 in January 2007 and the Department of Devsthan (a government department which manages and controls religious and charitable institutions and temples) given the registration number 14/2007/Jodhpur in September 2007.

Sambhali Trust is a recognized organization by the Indian Ministry of Home Affairs under Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 1976 under Section 6 (1) (a) since September 2010.

We have a Permanent Account Number (PAN) allotted by Income Tax Department since January 2007.

We have permission to provide Indian donors with Income Tax Exemption under section 12-A and 80-G of Income Tax Act 1961.

The accounts are fully audited every year by BALIA CHOUDHARY & CO. CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS, Jodhpur, to ensure total transparency, audited accounts are available on request.

The Trust is registered with the EMPLOYEES’ STATE INSURANCE CORPORATION [90 KB] and the EMPLOYEES' PROVIDENT FUND [16 KB] , a statutory Body under the Ministry of Labour and Employment.

Sambhali Trust has been granted Special Consultative Status by the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations on 23 July 2015.
